Camp Norway … in Denmark
The next Camp Norway was supposed to be arranged in Nord Jylland, but due to the snow situation there (50+ cm), they moved it south to Silkeborg.
The organisers did a great job by moving the whole organisation and trainings just a week before the start of the camp. For me it was an important milestone – the first orienteering sessions in the terrain this year.
Camp Norway went alright for me – together with the rest of the KOK senior team we got some good technical sessions in almost snow-free terrain. Some of the maps, though, were not exactly on the expected level (understand – crappy maps!).
Now I have two tired legs to take care of, and lots of training hours to train ahead of the first big competition this year – the Norwegian Night Champs in Halden.
